The Connecticut Cactus and Succulent Society was formed in 1979.

Maybe you're curious about Copiapoa. Perhaps you're wondering about Welwitschia. The Society is a very active club of enthusiasts.

No matter what your level of experience with cacti and other succulent plants, the Connecticut Cactus & Succulent Society is the place for you to meet new friends, learn new skills and find out about new plants, their habitats and how to grow them. Our club is made up of about 125 families and individuals that look forward to sharing their experiences of growing cacti and succulents.

Our Annual Show and Sale is renowned and everyone looks forward to our summer pot-luck picnic and December holiday party.
